Denver Broncos’ Shelby Harris expressed his displeasure with postponed game against New England Patriots

There will be two NFL Monday night games for the second straight week, but not everybody is in favor of the novelty.

After news broke that the Denver Broncos-New England Patriots game in Foxborough would be moved from Sunday afternoon to Monday night due to multiple positive COVID-19 tests on the Patriots, Broncos defensive end Shelby Harris voiced his displeasure on Twitter.

"Why are we getting punished when we did nothing wrong. Pats go on a bye next week and we are stuck on a short week playing the dolphins help it make sense," Harris tweeted.

The Patriots played against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, with the game being delayed a day after the team learned Saturday of quarterback Cam Newton's positive COVID-19 test. All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore tested positive on Tuesday, while practice-squad defensive lineman Bill Murray also was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list.

The Broncos' last game was a 37-28 win over the New York Jets on "Thursday Night Football" on Oct. 1.

The Broncos-Patriots game wasn't the only contest delayed due to positive COVID-19 tests. The Tennessee Titans' game against the Buffalo Bills was postponed to Tuesday due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the Titans.
