Chelsea have rejected a loan offer with an option to buy of over £70million from Bayern Munich, according to reports. The Blues star was wanted by the Bundesliga champions and they have renewed their interest just days before the transfer deadline.
Bayern Munich will not give up on the 19-year-old though and are expected to make another bid.
Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 4-0 earlier today and Lampard insisted he wanted Hudson-Odoi to stay.
The winger started the match at Stamford Bridge but failed to nail down a starting spot last season at the club.
Hudson-Odoi will consider a move with one eye on the European Championships next summer and the likes of Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic still to come back for Chelsea.

The Daily Mail say Bayern are determined to sign the England international.
When asked about the winger Lampard explained the player would have a say over what happens.
“There is no definitive answer,” said Lampard.
“By Monday we’ll know the definitive answer. If Bayern have declared their interest that’s one thing. But everything that happens on Monday will be what is good for the club, because Callum’s our player.
“Also what Callum wants will come into consideration.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ‘surprised’ by Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele [GOSSIP]
“At the minute I want Callum part of my squad, particularly when he’s offering up what he offered up in the second half and when he came on against West Brom.
“I think Callum’s performance particularly in the second half today when he got more aggressive and got past his full back on the outside was exactly what he needs to show.
“Because Callum absolutely has the ability and pace and ability on the ball to do that and put crosses in which he started to do. Callum is absolutely part of our plans here.
“We have Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech to come back into play, we need options on the wings and I was very pleased with him.”
