Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is still interested in signing Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum after missing out on the stars he knows well this summer.

Liverpool midfielder Wijnaldum and Lyon forward Depay are players that Koeman is familiar with from his two-year stint as Holland boss.

Koeman is also still keen on Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum, who is in the final year of deal
The Barcelona boss is still hopeful that he can be reunited with his former players in the future after failing to acquire their services in recent months.
‘Hopefully, we will have a second Dutchman in the squad,’ he told NOS.
‘Georginio Wijnaldum was on my list [too].’
Koeman knows Depay and Wijnaldum well following his two-year stint as Holland manager
Wijnaldum has entered the final year of his contract at Anfield although he admitted last week that he was not close to a departure to Spain.
Lyon’s Depay also has less than a year remaining on his current deal and has recently refused to rule out an exit in the winter after a move to Barcelona failed to materialise.
Wijnaldum was in action for Holland on Sunday as he played the full 90 minutes in their 0-0 draw with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the UEFA Nations League.
