Man Utd get major breakthrough to complete fourth summer transfer on frantic deadline day

Manchester United have reportedly agreed a £27million fee with Atalanta for winger Amad Troare – but the 18-year-old will not move to Old Trafford until January.

Traore was on his way to Parma after agreeing to join on loan before United hijacked the deal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made it his priority to find a new right winger this summer and he has found a decent alternative to Jadon Sancho.

Ex-Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani is expected to be announced as the Red Devils’ second arrival of the window, after Donny van de Beek.

Porto left-back Alex Telles is also in the UK and he will become United’s third new addition.

The latest breakthrough in talks with Atalanta should allow United to complete their fourth deal before tonight’s 11pm deadline.
