Jose Mourinho looks to have put Tottenham’s collapse against West Ham behind him as he shared a light-hearted post on Instagram ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash with LASK.

Spurs raced into a 3-0 lead in the first 15 minutes against their London rivals but conceded three goals themselves in the final stages with Manuel Lanzini scoring a screamer to equalise.

A disappointed Mourinho admitted at full-time that his side had been punished for believing the game was over. But the Tottenham boss appears to be in a determined mood as his side prepare for their opening Europa League group game.

Spurs threw away a 3-0 lead with their London rivals scoring a last-minute equaliser on Sunday

The manager took to Instagram to post a photo of him holding three footballs at the club’s training ground with the caption: ‘3 balls… The 3 goals we conceded against West Ham? The 3 amazing goals we scored against them? Or the 2 Europa leagues I have in the pocket and the 3rd one I am ready to fight for?

Mourinho won the Europa League with Manchester United in 2017. Goals from Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan gave the club a 2-0 victory over Ajax.

The Portuguese boss also won the trophy with Porto in 2003, when the competitions was known as the UEFA Cup.

The north London club have also been drawn alongside Belgian side Antwerp and Bulgarian team Ludogorets.

Mourinho has also dismissed that his side’s collapse against the Hammers was another example of their ‘Spursy’ stereotype – the idea they tend to enjoy success before throwing it away.

The manager insisted it was an anomaly in what has so far been an impressive campaign.
